  • 1/2 kg Chicken cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup mustard seeds
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tbsp carom seeds
  • Oil as required

Method to prepare amazing chicken tikka

  1. Grab a bowl and in this bowl add yogurt. In this yogurt add mustard seeds, red chili powder, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Blend with a hand mixer and make a smooth paste out of it.
  3. Then in the end add salt and ajvaine to this mixture.
  4. Marinate the chicken pieces with the batter one by one and oat them well.
  5. Refrigerate the marinated chicken for half an hour.
  6. Then it’s time for frying or grilling.
  7. Usually, chicken tikka is made by grilling the chicken over the rake. So we will go for the grilling process.
  8. Use seekh and insert it into 4-5 chicken pieces at a time.
  9. Brush the oil on both sides of all the chicken pieces.
  10. Then cook the chicken pieces over the flame until browned. This process of cooking allows the smoke to pass through the chicken.
