Recipe of Paneer Paratha

Paneer Paratha makes a filling breakfast or lunch when filled with crumbled paneer. The recipe is almost similar to vegetable paratha, but veggies are replaced by paneer.

For stuffing

  • 2 cups crumbled paneer
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tbsp garam masala
  • 1-inch grated ginger
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp dry mango powder

For dough

  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • Water for kneading
  • Oil or ghee as required
  • Salt to taste

How to make a Perfect Paneer Paratha?

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix the crumbled paneer with garam masala, mango powder (amchur powder), and salt.
  2. Secondly, mix the chopped ginger and coriander leaves. Give a good mix to your dry mixture.
  3. Then the third step is for making dough. In a large bowl, mix wheat flour with salt.
  4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes after adding the required water.
  5. Then grease the dough with oil and let it sit for some time.
  6. Make balls from the dough. Place the stuffing in its center and then cover it by folding.
  7. Sprinkle flour and roll the ball with the rolling pin into a chapati.
  8. Now heat the tawa and put some oil on it. Flip and fry from both sides.
  9. Serve hot with raita and some sort of pickles.
