  • 500 grams of dry Rigatoni Pasta
  • 1/4 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato pasta sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced fresh garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 small Onion finely diced
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/8-1/4 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes

Method to make the Rigatoni Campagnolo

Boil water in a large-sized pot and add the rigatoni pasta for boiling. Follow the package directions to cook al dente.

Put a skillet on the stovetop and add butter to melt it.

In the melted butter, add the diced onions and cook until the onions are browned.

For seasoning the Onion, sprinkle the salt and pepper. Add the garlic and also add red pepper flakes which are freshly crushed at the same time.

Bring the flour and add it to the skillet. Stir well.

Pour cream into the mixture and also add tomato sauce to it. Let the mixture get thickened while simmering.

Reserve a cup of water from the cooking pasta. Drain the rest of the water.

Bring the cooked pasta and add it to the cooked and thickened sauce. Simmer for some time.

Bring the grated cheese, sprinkle it over the mixture, and your pasta is ready to serve once melted.
