Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 sticks salted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375F.
In a bowl, add the flour, baking soda, and salt and whisk together.
In a large bowl, add butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract and beat with a mixer until light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs one by one and mix well to combine in between each addition.
Slowly add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and mix at low speed. Add the chocolate chips and gently mix them in the dough.
Drop 2 tablespoons of cookie dough on the baking sheet, keeping 2 inches gap in between them.
Bake the cookies in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
Allow the baked cookies to cool for few minutes on the baking sheet then transfer them on a wire rack.
