- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 5 large sized eggs
- 2 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 pounds of cream cheese
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
For Crust
- 2-3 tablespoons melted butter
- 3/4 cup vanilla wafers chopped
- 1/4 cup pecans finely chopped
- 1/4 cup walnuts finely chopped
- 1/4 cup almonds finely chopped
Steps for making the delicious Caramel Cheesecake
- Firstly to prepare the crust of the cheesecake, take a food processor and then crush all the dry fruits and nuts in it.
- Once everything is properly crushed in the processor, you must add melted butter into it to make a wet mixture.
- Bring the baking pan for baking the crust mixture and before doing so, you must prepare it using butter.
- Then transfer the crust mixture into the pan and bake for 10-12 minutes for getting a well-browned crust. The temperature for the crust is 350 degrees.
- Once baked, set aside and prepare the filling.
Preparing the Filling
- First of all, add the cream cheese to the bowl and beat it well until it is softened enough. Then you must add sugar into it and beat it to get it to dissolve in the fluffy cream cheese.
- Add the eggs one by one by one into the beaten mixture and also continue beating side by side.
- To proceed further, you must sift the flour into the mixture at this point. Mix flour really well and then pour the vanilla extract into it.
- After stirring it into the thickened flour and cream cheese mixture, you must squeeze in the lemon juice.
- In this step, you have to add the sour cream. Blend the sour cream with the rest.
- Then bring the cooking pan and transfer the blended mixture or filling to the crust in the pan. Bake for more than one hour at the reduced temperature of 325 degrees.
- Once baked take it out of the oven and let it refrigerate for a few hours.
- Your cheesecake is ready. Drizzle some caramel on the cheesecake and serve.
