San Giorgio Lasagna Recipe

San Giorgio is famous for making the best gluten-free, delicious, and organic pasta. Making Italian-style dishes is my favorite hobby to do in the kitchen. I have been experimenting to make a perfect lasagna but there is always some deficiency left. But this time I did wonder in the kitchen when I made this San Giorgio Lasagna.

The recipe is super duper easy and the best part about it is the cheesy and creamy bites you have every time you indulge in it. It’s a must-follow recipe and you should try this one out.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb grounded beef
  • 2 large sized eggs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon grounded black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh Parsley
  • 16 Oz uncooked San Giorgio Lasagna
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions to make San Georgio Lasagna Recipe

  1. Take a non-stick large-sized skillet and add beef to it. Once your meat is browned enough, you have to add the remaining sauces and spices.
  2. Put in the spaghetti sauce and stir with your meat. Cook for 10-12 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Boil and cook the pasta following the instructions written on the package. Drain the water and then let stand.
  4. Then combine all the three types of cheese in a bowl including the ricotta, Parmesan, and Mozzarella cheese.
  5. Add eggs into it and then season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle parsley over it.
  6. Take a baking dish and use cooking spray to grease it. Take the meat mixture and make a layer at the bottom of the dish. Then spread the cooked pasta over it.
  7. Then make a layer of cheese by spreading cheese over it.
  8. Spread the remaining meat sauce over it. And repeat the process of making all the layers.
  9. Cover the top of the dish using the foil and sheet and put it in the oven. In this preheated oven, bake your casserole for 45 minutes at least.
  10. After removing the foil, bake for another two minutes, and once you did. Slice before serving your amazing lasagna.

How do we know that the lasagna is ready?

Your lasagna should be browned and moist a little but it should not be runny or watery. If so then bake it for more time. It should be compact and well settled.

Is it necessary to cover with foil while cooking?

Yes, it is necessary to cover the dish by using a foil sheet from the top. Otherwise, it will dry out. When covered it locked all the moisture inside it.
