Ingredients
- 450 g shrimps (peeled, deveined)
- 1 green chili pepper (seeds removed, sliced lengthwise)
- 1 red chili pepper (seeds removed, sliced lengthwise)
- 1/2 onion (sliced)
- 1 tomato (sliced lengthwise)
- 6 baby red potatoes (peeled, halved)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
For the seasoning
- 1 ½ teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon old bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (crushed)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
How to cook shrimp
Boil water in a pot over medium heat. Add potatoes and boil for 5 minutes. Drain.
Mix all the seasoning ingredients and add half of the seasoning to the shrimp. Mix to coat well and leave for 15 minutes.
In a skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant then add shrimp and cook for 3 minutes per side until golden brown then remove shrimp from skillet.
Now, add sliced peppers to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes then add potatoes and cook until tender. Stir occasionally.
Add tomatoes and remaining seasoning to the skillet, stir well and cook for 3 minutes.
Finally, add cooked shrimp, stir well to combine all the ingredients, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Transfer the shrimp and vegetables to a large serving tray. Serve with garlic bread and enjoy.
