The tacos with shrimp are a simple recipe, made with corn flour to be stuffed with meat, fish and vegetables of all kinds. A simple and tasty dish to prepare in a few minutes: tortillas stuffed with just seared prawns and flavored with a very fresh cabbage and carrot salad. Ingredients
- 8 Corn tortillas
- 400g Shrimp
- 350g Savoy cabbage
- 100g Carrots
- 1 Fresh spring onion
- Salt to taste
- Oil to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Lime to taste
For the sauce
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 100g greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Vinegar a teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
How to make shrimp tacos
Clean the shrimps, peel them and sauté them in a pan with a drizzle of oil, flavor them with a few drops of lime, a pinch of salt and oil and set aside.
In the meantime, dedicate yourself to the cabbage salad: clean the cabbage, pass it under cold water and cut it into very thin strips. Peel the carrots and cut them into julienne strips, finely slice a spring onion.
For the sauce: in a bowl combine the yogurt, mayonnaise, a hint of mustard, vinegar, pepper, and salt and mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth and creamy sauce.
Season the vegetables with the sauce and cook them for a few minutes. Stuff the tortillas with the cabbage salad, add the shrimp and enjoy your tacos.
Storage
It is advisable to taste the tacos with freshly prepared shrimp: by keeping them, in fact, you require to lose all their crunchiness.
