  • 1 package Sara Lee Frozen Pound Cake
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1-1/2 cup whipped topping
  • Chocolate curls (optional)

How to make strawberry shortcake

First of all, thaw the frozen pound cake and cut it into 8 slices, ½ inch thick.

Slice the fresh strawberries. Sprinkle the granulated sugar over strawberry slices.

Place 1 pound cake slice on each serving plate.

Top the pound cake slice with 2 tbsp of strawberry slices, then place another slice of pound cake slice over it and another layer of strawberries.

Finally, top with whipped cream and chocolate curls if you like.
