IHOP Stuffed French Toast Recipe

French toasts are an American preparation, even if the name might suggest a French origin, and are eaten for breakfast or brunch.

  • 100 ml partially skimmed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 100 g butter

How to make French toast

In a bowl, add the eggs, milk, a pinch of salt and mix with a fork until the mixture is smooth.

Slice the brioche bread, slather with cream cheese, put another bread slice on top and dip them in the egg mixture.

In a non-stick pan, melt butter and fry the toasts until golden brown without burning them.

Transfer the stuffed French toast to a plate and serve covered with fruit, icing sugar and maple syrup.
