The tuna sandwich, a very simple and super quick recipe to prepare, can be a simple snack. It is often used to prepare tuna sandwiches for breakfast or even for buffet dinners. Here are the simple steps to prepare tuna sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 80 g of Tuna
- 2 tbsp of Mayonnaise
- enough of loaf bread
- enough of Lettuce
- 1 Pepper
How to prepare tuna sandwich
Open the package of canned tuna, discard any oil or preservative liquid present and pour the contents into a bowl. With the help of a fork, break it up in such a way as to avoid that there are too large pieces. Add the mayonnaise, pepper and mix well.
Wash the lettuce leaves and dry them well.
Take two slices of sandwich bread and place a couple of salad slices on one of them. Pour the tuna and mayonnaise mixture on the salad, and then cover everything with the other slice of bread.
Eat immediately or wrap the sandwich in plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator for no more than a few hours.
Tips
The tuna sandwich can be enriched with the addition of other ingredients, such as capers, anchovies or olives, to be shredded and mixed with the mayonnaise and tuna mixture. Also good a few slices of tomato to be included with the salad.
Pepper can be replaced with chilli or with a few drops of Tabasco. In addition, other spices or flavorings, such as oregano, can be added.
