  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 10 finely chopped french beans
  • 1 medium carrot, finely chopped
  • 4-5 finely chopped mushrooms
  • 2 finely chopped spring onions
  • 1/4 cup bean sprouts
  • 8-10 cashew nuts, chopped
  • 1-inch ginger finely chopped
  • 1 green chili finely chopped
  • 8-10 black peppercorns
  • 1/2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tbsp MSG(optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 spring onion, chopped

How to make yummy Vegetable Momos

  1. First of all, knead the dough after mixing the flour with water.
  2. To prepare the filling of the dough or momos, in a bowl, combine the french beans, carrot, mushrooms, cashew nuts, soy sauce, MSG, sesame oil, and peppercorns. After adding the green chili, squeeze some soya sauce. Don’t forget to add salt to it as it is the basic ingredient.
  3. Then divide the dough into a number of small portions and then roll each portion into small discs by using a rolling pin.
  4. Pinch the sides after filling in the material firmly together forming a dumpling. Using a steamer rack, steam the momos for a duration of 10 minutes. I am sure that the momos will be cooked completely.
  5. Transfer the momos to your serving dish and garnish the green onions. Serve your momos with your favorite sauce.
