  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple
  • 2 medium-sized apples, diced
  • 1/2 cup half sliced red seedless grapes
  • 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup diced  celery
  • 8 springs of fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped walnuts
  • 8 fresh maraschino cherries

  1. You have to cook all the mentioned juices together in a small saucepan to prepare a thick mixture.
  2. For this purpose, in a saucepan combine the lemon juice with the pineapple one and add salt to the mixture.
  3. Stir while cooking to turn it into a thick mixture. Once thick enough turn the heat off and wait for it to get cooled.
  4. Bring the cream and whip it using the blender. Then make folds of the whipped cream in the cooked juice syrup.
  5. Add the marshmallows to the cooked syrup and then you have to add fruits to the mixture. Add the halved grapes, pineapple, celery, and nuts. Your salad is ready, now spread in the pan for freezing.
  6. It should be frozen for2-3 hours and served chilled after sprinkling the cheery and mint over the salad for a good pop of color and flavor.
