Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking salt
- 100 g white Chocolate bar
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 pack cherry
- 1/2 cup sugar syrup
How to make white forest cake
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a regular cake pan and set aside.
In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar on medium speed until creamy. Now, add eggs and vanilla essence and beat well.
Add flour, baking powder, and baking salt and mix well. Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake for 30 minutes. Allow the cake to cool, then cut into three layers.
Melt white chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave for 1 minute. Mix the chocolate with a spatula and add a little portion of whipping cream and mix.
Pour sugar syrup on cake layers, spread whipping cream evenly and then apply white chocolate icing.
Arrange all three layers on each other and apply chocolate icing. Now, apply the whipping cream on all sides of the cake.
Add some whipping cream to a star nozzle icing bag and decorate the edges of the cake. Arrange cherries on each star and sprinkle some grated white chocolate.
Place the cake in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy the delicious white forest cake.
