INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly and finely minced ginger
  • Red pepper flaked according to taste
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped water chestnuts
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts or cashew nuts
  • 1/3 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 head butter lettuce

For dipping sauce

  • 3/4 cup remaining teriyaki mixture
  • 1/4 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoon creamy peanut butter

Instructions to make Yard House Lettuce Wraps

  1. Take a bowl and combine all the sauces in this bowl. Add teriyaki sauce and chili sauce. Then pour in the soy sauce and finely minced ginger.
  2. Shower some red pepper flakes and mix well. Set the sauce mixture aside.
  3. Bring a large-sized skillet and heat some oil in it at medium flame. Once the oil is hot enough add chicken in it to fry it.
  4. To add flavor to your chicken season it with salt and pepper.
  5. Once it turns white remove it from the stovetop.
  6. Then in this skillet, again heat some oil to saute onion and garlic along with the pine nuts and chestnuts. Also, you should add the mushrooms to it at the same time.
  7. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
  8. Then add the teriyaki sauce mixture followed by chicken in this nut and mushroom mixture.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Cook the chicken in the skillet for 10-12 minutes at least. And here we are. Your dish is all ready to serve.
  11. Serve with the butter lettuce.

For dipping sauce

  1. Take a small saucepan and heat the leftover Teriyaki sauce. Cook it for a few minutes.
  2. After turning the heat off, add the cooked sauce in two bowls. In one bowl add Sriracha sauce and add peanut butter in the other bowl.
  3. Mix well both the mixtures and makes it creamy and smooth.
  4. Your dipping sausages are ready to serve.
