  • 3 tbsp. (35g) sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. instant yeast or active dry yeast

For a small (1-pound) machine

  • 2 1/2 cups (298g) King Arthur All-Purpose Flour (Unbleached)
  • 5 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup lukewarm water
  • 1/4 cup lukewarm milk
  • 2 tsp. (28g) butter
  • 1 tsp. instant yeast or active dry yeast

How to make King Arthur flour bread using a bread machine

 

  1. Put all the ingredients into your machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Set the machine for basic bread and press start baking. The machine will start baking the bread.
