- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 pound Jumbo Shrimp, peeled and veins are removed
- 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1-2 Quarts of Vegetable Oil, for frying
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 large-sized egg
- 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tablespoon freshly ground white pepper
- Bahama Breeze Citrus Mustard Sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 tablespoon sugar
Instructions to make Bahama Breeze Coconut Shrimp
- First, you have to prepare a dry mixture. Take a deep bowl and put the all-purpose flour in that bowl and add the other seasonings to it.
- Make the addition of paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, white pepper, and sugar. Stir all of them together in a good manner.
- In another vessel, break an egg and add a tablespoon of water to it. Beat them using a hand blender until well mixed.
- In a third container mix the shredded coconut with the Panko.
- You have to coat the shrimp in the flour mixture one by one and then flip. So that it will be well coated from all sides.
- Then dip the flour-coated shrimp into the egg mixture. Once it is drooped with the egg drop it in the coconut and Panko mixture.
- Once done place the coated shrimp aside.
- In a deep skillet heat the oil and fry the shrimp. Once deep-fried you have to cook the shrimp in the oven.
- Put the fried shrimp on the baking pan and start the cooking process. Cook either in the oven or your dutch oven.
- Once done drizzle with the sauce and Serve!
