- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar

- Take a medium-sized mixing bowl that is washed and cleaned.
- In this bowl, add the cornstarch and then pour a little water into it. Stir both of them and make a slurry having a smooth texture.
- Bring a non-stick saucepan and pour the water and cornstarch mixture into it.
- Keep the flame medium and heat up the mixture. While cooking, continue stirring for some time and then you have to add the other dressing ingredients.
- Firstly add the celery seeds and then you must stir the onion powder into this mixture. You must give a good stir to your mixture at this point.
- Then add some water and pour the apple cider vinegar into it.
- Sprinkle some salt and pepper into the mixture and then stir in the butter. In the end stir the sugar, into the cooking sauce.
