Salads have a wide variety in terms of kinds and ingredients but the Caprese Pasta salad is my constant favorite at all times. The tomatoes added to it are the main specialty of this salad. Tomatoes give a good color to this salad. This recipe is Rachael Ray’s recipe and so is legendary.

The salad is dressed with mayo, basil, and cheese. The cheesy appearance of this salad gives pleasure to our eyes. That is why it is closest to my heart. The ingredients used in the proceedings should be quality ingredients and everything should be fresh to have the best taste.

  • 2 pounds tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Sal to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 pound short-cut pasta
  • 1 ball fresh mozzarella, diced
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 20 leaves of basil, torn
  • Parmesan cheese, for topping

Steps of making an amazing Caprese Pasta Salad Recipe

  1. For making your favorite Caprese Pasta, take a medium-sized bowl and start mixing the mentioned ingredients one by one.
  2. Mix the chopped tomatoes with garlic and red wine vinegar.
  3. Then add olive oil, 1 tbsp salt, and 1/2 tbsp pepper. Also, drop some olive oil.
  4. Cover the bowl with a lid or a paper rap and let the mixture settle for at least 1 hour.
  5. Boil pasta in a large skillet filled with salted water. After it is cooked, drain.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the tomato bowl. Mix well. Once the pasta mixture is cooled down, mix the shredded mozzarella cheese with it.
  7. Throw in the torn basil leaves.
  8. Before we top our Pasta, get it out in a serving dish. Now top it with some mayo and the grated Parmesan Cheese and Serve with a fork.
