Chef Boyardee Lasagna Recipe

Chef Boyardee’s lasagna with beef ravioli is a special dish that you can prepare for lunch and dinner. The preparation of this recipe is fun; you can involve your kids in making layers of ravioli and cheeses. If you do not like spinach in this recipe, you can replace it with any other vegetable you enjoy the most.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen loose cut spinach leaves
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans Beef Ravioli
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can Diced Tomatoes, drained well
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup 1% low fat cottage cheese
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend

How to cook lasagna

Preheat oven to 375F. Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

First of all, you have to microwave spinach leaves. To do this, place the spinach leaves in a bowl, cover and microwave for just a few minutes. Squeeze the leaves to dry.

Now, combine the beef ravioli, tomatoes, and Italian seasoning in a bowl. Cover the bowl and microwave for 4 to 5 minutes.

Combine and mix cottage cheese, spinach and black pepper in a small bowl.

Add half of the ravioli mixture in the baking dish and spread evenly in the bottom of the dish. Add a layer of cottage cheese mixture and then spread ½ cup of shredded cheese. Repeat this process to add layers.

Bake until cheese has melted starts making bubbles (for 15 minutes).
