Chicken Cream Gravy is the most creamy and most delicious chicken I have ever had in my entire life. We used to make butter chicken at first but since the day I tried this Chicken Cream Gravy I am so in love with this one. Chicken Cream Gravy is a lengthy recipe that includes simmering for more than half an hour but once you get an expert in this one, you will never go for any of the other chicken dishes.
Most of the ingredients included in the recipe are already available in your kitchen you just have to buy a few of them and then pour some keen efforts to make the most delicious creamy chicken.
INGREDIENTS
For spicy Seasonings
- 7 Kashmiri Red Chilies
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 3/4 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 Inch cinnamon stick
- 4 green Cardamom pods
For the Chicken Marination
- 3/4 tablespoon grounded Red Chili
- 1 Kg chicken Curry Pieces
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon grounded Turmeric powder
For Creamy Chicken
- 3/4 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon of dry Fenugreek leaves
- 3 green Chilies Chopped
- 3/4 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 cup of thick cream
- 1/2 tablespoon grounded turmeric powder
- 3/4 tablespoon of crushed Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tablespoon of Garam masala
- Chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup of cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon grounded turmeric powder
- 3/4 cup of tomato puree
- 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste
- 2 medium-sized chopped onions
- Marinated Chicken
Method to make the Chicken Cream Gravy
Put a pan on the stovetop and add all the seasonings to the pan including the cumin, cardamom pods, coriander seeds, garlic cloves, and red chilies. Fry them for a few minutes.
Put the fried seasoning into a grinder and make powder out of it.
Take chicken in a bowl and then sprinkle the marination seasoning over it including the turmeric powder, salt, and red chili.
Mix the chicken using your hands, then keep it aside.
Pour oil into a skillet, heat it, and then fry the chopped onions in this oil.
Once the onion gets browned add all the spicy powder seasonings into it. Mix well and simmer for some time. Pour the tomato puree into the pan in the next step.
Cook for some time while stirring and then add the marinated chicken to the mixture. Sprinkle the green chilies and the ground spice mixture on the chicken. Simmer.
Pour some water into the pan to make gravy.
Add salt and simmer for 10-15 more minutes. Bring the yogurt and pour it into the cooking skillet. Mix well, put the lid and simmer it.
Then in the end pour the thick cream into your chicken mixture. Once the gravy gets thickened turn off the heat.
Sprinkle the coriander leaves at the top and then Serve your Creamy Chicken.
