Chicken Frangelico Cream Sauce Recipe

Experimenting with new recipes and exploring new food places has become a habit and fashion now. The Chicken Frangelico Cream sauce is a result of such an amazing experiment that blessed us with an amazing chicken dish. Frangelico is a sweet hazelnut and flavored liquid that is used in recipes for an outstanding relish.

All the seasonings either regular or Italian and sausages together make the best cream chicken sauce ever and I cannot get over how amazing the results were when I first made it. After the first try, this chicken cream sauce has become an essential dish in our menu of fancy dinners.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons fresh Italian Parsley
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Extra virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup Frangelico
  • 1 (8-ounce) package of baby Bella mushrooms, thinly sliced

Method to make delicious Chicken Frangelico Cream Sauce

  1. After dicing the chicken, dip it in cold water and then use paper towels to pat dry the chicken.
  2. Spice the chicken by sprinkling salt and pepper and then prepare a coating by combining the flour with Italian seasonings. Coat the spiced chicken in this flour and set it aside to settle.
  3. Take a large-sized deep pan and after melting butter in it mix oil with this melted butter. Shallow sear the chicken from both sides by flipping to give it a good Golden color.
  4. Then again heat butter in the pan and fry the shallots for a few minutes. Along with the shallots cook the mushrooms.
  5. In this mushroom and shallot mixture add the Frangelico and pour the chicken stock into it. Squeeze the Worcestershire sauce in it. Wait for the material to get boiled. Then simmer it to thicken your sauce.
  6. Once thickened, reduce the heat, add the chicken into the sauce top with butter, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Spread the diced parsley at the top and Serve alongside your favorite Pasta.
