  • 2 ½ lb chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Oil for deep frying

How to make BBQ sticky wing

In a saucepan, add soy sauce, honey, and barbecue sauce and mix well to combine. Cook the sauce until the liquid is reduced to just 1 cup.

In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, salt, and pepper and mix well. Coat the chicken wings in this flour mixture one by one and set aside.

In a deep fryer, heat oil to 375F and fry a few wings at a time for 3 to 4 minutes per side until no longer pink.

Drain the wings on paper towels to remove the excessive oil then transfer to a large bowl.
