King Taco Green Salsa Recipe

This King Taco Green salsa Verde is made by roasting jalapenos and tomatoes. The roasting of these veggies adds an amazing flavor to this salsa. It is the best side dish to serve with the main course dishes. King Taco green salsa is the most famous salsa.

  • 3 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium-sized white onion
  • 6-7 green tomatoes
  • 4 jalapenos
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup fresh green cilantro
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon white sugar

Steps to make King Taco Green Salsa

  1. Wash all the veggies including jalapeno, tomatoes, and green peppers. Also, wash the cilantro.
  2. Bring the jalapeno and cut it from the center. Extract the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, heat some olive oil. Keep the heat moderate. Put the jalapeno and green pepper in the pan. Also, add the garlic cloves to it.
  4. Stir fry them until it turns brown. Wait until completely fried and then remove them from the skillet, add them to a bowl and set aside.
  5. Heat some more oil in the skillet, and cook tomatoes in the oil until they get soft. Also, add some salt along with pepper.
  6. Remove the tomatoes from the heat.
  7. Then chop the onion and cilantro and fill them in a bowl.
  8. Now using an electric blender, blend the green pepper, garlic, cooked tomatoes, and roasted jalapeno. Blend until they are smooth.
  9. To flavor, the salsa, add the sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes and blend for a few more minutes.
  10. Then pour the salsa into your serving bowl. Squeeze some lemon juice in it and sprinkle the onion in it. Mix with the spoon and serve!
