King Taco Green Salsa Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium-sized white onion
  • 6-7 green tomatoes
  • 4 jalapenos
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup fresh green cilantro
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon white sugar

Instructions

  • Wash all the veggies including jalapeno, tomatoes, and green peppers. Also, wash the cilantro.
  • Bring the jalapeno and cut it from the center. Extract the seeds.
  • In a skillet, heat some olive oil. Keep the heat moderate. Put the jalapeno and green pepper in the pan. Also, add the garlic cloves to it.
  • Stir fry them until it turns brown. Wait until completely fried and then remove them from the skillet, add them to a bowl and set aside.
  • Heat some more oil in the skillet, and cook tomatoes in the oil until they get soft. Also, add some salt along with pepper.
  • Remove the tomatoes from the heat.
  • Then chop the onion and cilantro and fill them in a bowl.
  • Now using an electric blender, blend the green pepper, garlic, cooked tomatoes, and roasted jalapeno. Blend until they are smooth.
  • To flavor, the salsa, add the sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes and blend for a few more minutes.
  • Then pour the salsa into your serving bowl. Squeeze some lemon juice in it and sprinkle the onion in it. Mix with the spoon and serve!
