3 large eggs

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup sour cream

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup room temperature butter

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

How to make sour cream pound cake

Preheat oven to 350 °F.

Mix butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Then add the sour cream and mix well until combined.

Mix baking soda and flour together and add to the cream mixture. Start adding eggs one by one and beat them well. Add vanilla and mix again.

Grease and flour the baking pan. Pour the mixture into baking pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until the wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
