Banana Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 beaten egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups of fresh milk
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 4 sliced bananas
  • 1 baked pastry shell cooled
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Turn on the oven and start preheating it. You must preheat at the temperature of 350 degrees.
  • In a bowl add some flour and then add sugar into it. Sprinkle some salt into it and pour a little milk.
  • Stir well and add the whole mixture to a saucepan. Turn on the flame and start cooking. Keep stirring while cooking. You need a thickened mixture so keep stirring until you get the texture.
  • Take a bowl and put egg yolks into this medium-sized bowl. Whisk using a hand mixer and then add these egg yolks to the cooked mixture.
  • Start cooking again and continue to stir for a few minutes. Add butter into your hot mixture and then add vanilla at the same time.
  • Bring the cooked shell f pastry and put the sliced bananas in your pastry shell. Bring your cooked custard and drizzle it into your shell.
  • Put in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Once cooked, let the air cool and then put it in the refrigerator to cool it down for one hour.
  • Serve while chilled!
