Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pepper blend
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare 13x9 baking dish by spraying with cooking spray.
  • Season both sides of chicken breasts with oil then sprinkle the remaining ingredients on both sides.
  • Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until chicken breasts or tender and juice is clear when cut from center.
  • Remove the baking dish from oven. Place chicken breasts on plates,garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

  • You can store well-shredded chicken breasts pieces in freezer and use them later in tacos, soups or casseroles.
  • Cook the chicken breasts until they are no-longer pink in the center. Check the largest piece by cutting it from center. Remove small pieces before from oven if they are cooked earlier than large pieces.
