Carlos O’ Kelly’s Queso Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cups diced tomato
  • 2-3 tbsp diced jalapenos
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  • Take a saute pan and melt butter in it by heating at a low flame.
  • To initialize your process, add the diced veggies including onion, tomatoes, and jalapeno.
  • Cook until the veggies get soft. Keep the temperature lower because as long and slow the process is, the better taste will develop in it.
  • Then, in the next step slice the Velveeta into smaller cubes. Throw these cubes in a crockpot and then add all the cooked veggies.
  • Cook for some time so that the cubes of Velveeta will melt and get merged with the veggies. In the end, add the sour cream and cook for a few minutes.
  • Your amazing Queso dip is ready. Serve it with tortilla chips to your family and kids and they will be a fan of it.
