Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts or thighs
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Garlic
  • Oregano
  • Paprika
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Make the marinade by mixing olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Change the amounts to match how you like the taste.
  • Put the chicken in a flat dish or a bag that can be sealed.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, making sure it covers all the pieces. Rub the marinade onto the chicken to make sure it gets really tasty.
  • Put a cover on the dish or close the bag and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This will help the chicken soak up the flavors.
  • Heat your grill or grill pan until it is hot enough. Make sure the grill bars are clean and have a little oil to stop food from sticking.
  • Once the grill is hot, take the chicken out of the marinade and remove any extra. Throw away the rest of the marinade.
  • Put the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, until it's fully cooked and has grill marks.
  • Use a thermometer to make sure the inside of the chicken is at least 165°F (75°C).
  • After you finish cooking, take the chicken off the grill and let it sit for a little bit before you eat it. This keeps the chicken juicy and tender by letting the juices spread out again.
  • Cut the chicken into pieces and eat it with rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
