Make the marinade by mixing olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Change the amounts to match how you like the taste.
Put the chicken in a flat dish or a bag that can be sealed.
Pour the sauce over the chicken, making sure it covers all the pieces. Rub the marinade onto the chicken to make sure it gets really tasty.
Put a cover on the dish or close the bag and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This will help the chicken soak up the flavors.
Heat your grill or grill pan until it is hot enough. Make sure the grill bars are clean and have a little oil to stop food from sticking.
Once the grill is hot, take the chicken out of the marinade and remove any extra. Throw away the rest of the marinade.
Put the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, until it's fully cooked and has grill marks.
Use a thermometer to make sure the inside of the chicken is at least 165°F (75°C).
After you finish cooking, take the chicken off the grill and let it sit for a little bit before you eat it. This keeps the chicken juicy and tender by letting the juices spread out again.
Cut the chicken into pieces and eat it with rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
