First of all, you need a large mixing bowl. In that large bowl put the cream cheese and beat it well using an electric beater until it is fully softened.
Beat the cream cheese at maximum speed for 3-4 minutes. Make sure that it gains a fluffy texture.
To make the first layer add the cool whip and vanilla extract. Mix well and then add the powdered sugar. Make sure there are no lumps left in the smooth mixture.
Then bring the pie crust near you and start spooning the cream cheese mixture in the pie crust. Use a spatula to make the top look smooth.
Put the pie in the fridge to let it settle down.
To start making the second layer for the pie, first prepare the chocolate pudding according to the instructions written in the pack. Do not add more than 1 1/2 cups of milk.
They take the pie out of the fridge and spread the chocolate pudding over the filling.
In the end, top the pie with a cool whip and shower the chocolate chips over it.
