Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup wheat flour or all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons plus 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  • To prepare the cake batter mix the cocoa powder with the flour and combine it with the baking powder. Stir it slowly so that it will not blow out.
  • Make addition some salt into the mixture and pour milk into it. Squeeze some oil into it. Add the vanilla extract and stir.
  • Take the square baking pan of the preheated oven, and spread the prepared cake batter in this pan.
  • In a small-sized container, mix the cocoa powder with brown sugar and then make a layer of it over the batter layer in the pan.
  • Add some hot water to the top. It is better to use freshly boiled water for better results. Now in the preheated oven bake your fudge cake fie half an hour or for 35 minutes.
  • After this time you will see the cake is dried and is puffy enough. Your fudge cake is ready to serve.
  • Pair the cake with an ice cream scoop and serve.
