  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 medium-sized capsicum
  • 4-6 light green chilies
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  • First of all, you have to wash and drain the chicken and also cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces so that it will be perfect for your chicken gravy.
  • Now to make the paste for marinating the chicken we have to blend all the marinade ingredients.
  • So for this purpose mix the lime, turmeric, salt, cornflour, ginger, and vinegar. After making this paste pour it over the bite-sized chicken pieces and leave the marinated chicken for 15 minutes.
  • Then in a pan, heat oil. Add the marinated chicken to this oil and saute it. Let it simmer until well cooked.
  • Then throw in the capsicums after chopping them.
  • Fry this capsicum along with the chicken.
  • After frying for 5-8 minutes at low flame, open the lid of the pot and add the rest of the spices.
  • Squeeze some soya sauce along with vinegar in the capsicum mixture.
  • Stir well and then throw in the green chilies. To make a slurry, mix cornflour with water.
  • Pour this slurry in your chicken and wait until your gravy is a little thick and glossy.
  • In the end, shower the chopped coriander leaves at the top and serve.
