Kirkland Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups salted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, and granulated sugar. With the help of a mixer, blend until smooth.
  • Add eggs, vanilla extract and mix at medium speed to combine everything well.
  • Then add salt, baking soda, and mix. Gradually add flour and continue mixing until thoroughly blended.
  • Now, add chocolate chips and mix with a spatula. Add nuts if you desire and mix.
  • With the help of a cookie scoop, drop onto the baking sheet keeping 2 inches gap between cookies.
  • Bake at 375F for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven. Do not over bake. Remove baking sheet from oven and let the cookies cool before serving.
  • About 30 cookies will be made with this recipe. Enjoy them immediately or store in an airtight container for a week.
