Mitsu Ken’s Garlic Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Garlic
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Soy sauce
  • Green onions
  • Corn starch
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  • Take two cups of soy sauce in a vessel and add sugar into it. Then add a cup of crushed garlic to it.
  • Put in chopped green onions and red chili flakes. Squeeze some sesame oil and stir it well.
  • Now bring it to boil on low heat in a saucepan. Keep blending during boiling. Turn off the heat and put it aside to cool.
  • For making the dry coating, pour some flour and corn starch into a container. Also, put in salt and pepper. Mix it.
  • Grab your chicken bites coat them one by one with the dry batter and put them aside in a dish.
  • Then dip the chicken pieces in the boiled garlic sauce and redress the chicken in flour. Fry at low flame.
  • The dry coating will make it extra crunchy and the liquid will give it that garlicky flavor.
  • After frying, dip the fried chicken in the garlic sauce again and then serve. Serve it hot with a thick garlic dip.
