Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 4 slices of sturdy white bread
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/2 ounce shredded gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 pound thick sliced ham or chicken optional

Instructions

  • Take a dish or a bowl and blend eggs in the bowl. Blend them well until a little fluffy.
  • Season the beaten eggs using salt and pepper.
  • After seasoning the eggs, mix and let the mixture side aside for settling.
  • Then to make the sandwiches, bring the rest of the ingredients like salt and pepper, mustard, and mayo.
  • Also, bring ham and cheese to assemble your sandwich.
  • Bring the bread slices, coat with the mayo and mustard, and put the ham slice over the coating. Spread cheese and then sprinkle salt and pepper for the final seasoning.
  • Your sandwiches are assembled for the next step.
  • Bring the nonstick pan and heat up some butter in the skillet.
  • Bring your assembled sandwiches and dip them one by one in the beaten egg that was set aside.
  • Then in the heated butter, sear the sandwich from each side for a few minutes and flip to cook from the other side. Once cooked, assemble them on the platter to serve.
