Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2 cups condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 ground cinnamon for dusting
  • 1/4 tbsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tbsp salt
  • 5 cups water

Instructions

  • To begin with, in a large-sized saucepan add water, rice, salt, and cinnamon. Set the pan on high flame and cook.
  • Bring the mixture to boil and cook until the rice is boiled and gets tender for at least 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain out the water, dispose of the cinnamon, and set the cooked rice aside. After a while, put the cooked rice in the same saucepan, and then it's time for the next step.
  • Now pour in the condensed milk and evaporated milk in the rice and whisk it well. Also, whisk in the whole milk. Also, add a cup of sugar to the liquid mixture.
  • Boil the mixture and then cook until it gains a thick consistency. Cook for at least 20 minutes.
  • Now in the next step, add the raisins to this mixture. Mix well and cook.
  • Then transfer the whole rice pudding to your serving bowl and to dress it, dust the top with the grounded cinnamon and nutmeg to make it look even better.
  • Serve to the ones who are waiting for it eagerly.
