Peanut Butter Jelly Cracker Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Peanut butter for topping
  • Strawberry jelly for topping

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar using a beater. Continue beating to get a thick creamy paste.
  • Squeeze some vanilla in the paste and then add the baking powder. Add a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.
  • Now pour half a cup of milk into a mixture of all-purpose flour and wheat flour.
  • Make a dough out of this mixture and it should be thick and rich.
  • Spread and flatten the dough. Refrigerate the dough after wrapping it in the refrigerator.
  • The next morning, take out the dough, roll it on a floured surface and then slice the dough into the desired shape of crackers.
  • Line the baking pan with parchment paper and a cookie sheet and place the sliced shapes of dough in the pan. The oven is preheated.
  • To add some toppings to the crackers you can use granulated sugar for the purpose.
  • Bake in the oven and you'll see after the required time, that the edges of the crackers are beautifully browned.
  • Take them out and let the air cool.
  • Then apply the peanut butter to a single side of the cracker. On the other cracker put some strawberry jelly and then place them on top of each other.
  • Your Peanut Butter Jelly Cracker sandwiches are ready to serve. Enjoy your delicious snacks.
