Red Lobster Shrimp Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled, de-veined and tails removed
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2/3 cup clam juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon each dried basil leaves
  • 8 ounces linguine cooked and drained

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, add and heat 1/3 cup olive oil over medium-high flame. Add garlic and lower the heat to low. Simmer for 1 minute oruntil the garlic is soft and tender.
  • Now, add shrimp and cook over medium-low heat until the shrimp are opaque. Remove shrimp but reserve the liquid.
  • Add clam juice or chicken broth alternatively and bring to aboil. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat, add cream and stir constantly. Add parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Cook until the sauce is thickened.
  • Add shrimp to sauce and the remaining ingredients except linguine. Heat through.
  • Add linguine to the serving bowl. Pour the shrimp with sauce over linguine pasta and toss to coat them. Serve and enjoy!
