Ingredients

  • 8 slices of whole white bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 2 ounces thinly sliced boiled turkey or chicken strips
  • 1/4 pound thinly sliced cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  • You have to make these souffle sandwiches carefully and properly.
  • Bring the bread and remove the crust part using a sharp knife.
  • First of all, bring the baking pan and grease it with butter. Put four slices of white bread in the pan.
  • Make a layer of cheese in each slice and then put the meat slices over the cheese layer. As you know your meat is already boiled or fried just as per liking.
  • Put another slice over the filled slice.
  • Take a bowl and break the eggs in it. Beat these eggs with salt and pour some milk into them. After a good blending of the eggs and milk together, drizzle the mixture over your filled sandwich.
  • Cover the top of the pan with the lid and put it in the fridge to chill it for some time.
  • Your oven should be preheated at 350 degrees. Put the baking pan back in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Then transfer the sandwiches to the serving dishes and serve.
