Spicy Maple Bourbon Pickles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Cucumbers diced lengthwise for pickling size
  • 1 carrot cut in round shape
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded and sliced in strips
  • 1 hot pepper seeded and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 3/4 cups white vinegar
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tbsp Pickle spice
  • 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dill seed
  • 4 springs of fresh dill weed

Instructions

  • Take a large bowl. Pour some water, bourbon, and vinegar.
  • Also, add maple syrup and spices. Whisk properly until the mixture is well combined.
  • Add the vegetables to the mixture and make sure that the pickling liquid is poured on the vegetables.
  • Now cover this marination bowl from the top and wait until the spices are completely absorbed.
  • Remove the vegetables from the bowl. Bring yourself some jars.
  • Add an even quantity of cucumber, pepper, and garlic one by one in each jar.
  • Again drizzle the pickling liquid over these vegetables.
  • Make sure that the jars are air-tight.
  • Now the waiting period is a bit long. Store these marinated pickled in the refrigerator for at least 2 weeks.
  • Once the long refrigeration is done, enjoy your pickle snack with whatever meal you want. It is a complete party for you.
