Course: appetizer
Cuisine: Italian
Servings: 18

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb grounded beef
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 3 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons of Old El Paso Taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can Pillsbury refrigerated classic pizza crust

For toppings

  • Tomato
  • Sour cream
  • Lettuce
  • Onion
  • Guacamole
  • Mushrooms

Instructions

  • Once you are done setting the oven to get preheated, bring your baking dish and prepare it for baking by lining a baking sheet and greasing the baking pan.
  • The temperature for baking is 400 degrees exact. This temperature will result in perfectly baked rolls.
  • Then for the filling of the rolls, you have to cook the beef first. Cook the beef in a deep cooking non-stick skillet and add water and Taco seasoning to this beef to develop taste in it.
  • Cook for a few minutes after adding water and turn the flame off. Your beef is cooked as it changes its pink color. Set it aside.
  • Bring the pizza dough out of its packaging and roll it by placing it on a straight surface.
  • Spread the cooked taco meat in an even layer on the dough and then sprinkle the shredded cheese and make a complete layer of this cheese.
  • Start to roll the pizza dough from one side tightly, and once done, slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pizza rolls.
  • Once done slicing the rolls, align these rolls in the baking pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Your rolls are perfectly baking. Then top the rolls with onion, lettuce, or tomatoes and serve immediately with the sausage.
