  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red chili flakes
  • Oregano
  • Bread crumbs

Instructions

  • Take one cup of boiled, peeled, and mashed potatoes in a bowl and all your finely chopped veggies in it. Use whichever vegetable you like.
  • Then add 1 tbsp of red chili flakes, half tbsp of oregano, and a little bit of salt and black pepper so that the stuff is fully seasoned.
  • Grate 2 cloves of garlic in it, which will bring a nice flavor to it.
  • Add 2 cubes of grated cheese to it. Then add a cup of mozzarella cheese. I know the quantity is high but it is necessary for the perfect cheesy element. One tip is that you should use frozen mozzarella cheese.
  • Add 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour to keep the material together.
  • Make small balls of the stuff and then coat a layer of bread crumbs on them. This dry coating makes them look really like fur balls.
  • For drenching them in a liquid batter, mix 6 tbsp of cornflour and the same quantity of plain flour and add a bit of water. Add salt and stir it regularly.
  • Then take the cheese balls, drenching them with one layer of liquid batter and then with another layer of breadcrumbs so that it will have a perfect golden crust.
  • Then heat the oil at a high flame and then lower it. At first, put in only one cheese ball to test it. It is a safe run. Make sure it does not break up in the oil otherwise it's a mess.
  • Fry all of the cheese balls until golden browned and there you go. Your perfect cheesy balls are ready to comfort your cravings anytime.
