Xanthan gum: One can get it easily from any baking or health-food aisle in nearby supermarkets.
Milk: Unsweetened vanilla almond milk is best in this recipebut other types like dairy, coconut, or oat milk can also be used.
Frozen fruit: Any type of frozen fruitlike strawberries, blueberries, mangoes, bananas, or cherries, can be used. I preferred using mixed berries.
Protein powder: One can use any flavored collagen powder. I used strawberry flavor as it’s my favorite. It mixes well with other ingredients. If one has an allergy to dairyplant-based protein powders can too be used.
Instructions
Take a clean blender and add xanthan gum, protein powder, and almond milk and mix well. Blend so well that all the ingredients unite perfectly. For clearing the sides, one can use a rubber spatula.
Now split out all the content from the blender into a container and leave it in the refrigerator for about 3 hours.
If left to freeze for longer, then allow the mixture to thaw a little defrost before scooping it out.
Serve chilled and don’t forget to garnish it with crushed chocolate, nuts, or fresh berries.
