Ingredients

1 (5-oz) box instant French vanilla pudding mix

1 (12-oz) container frozen whipped topping, sweetened whipped cream

1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk

1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened

2 cups milk

6 to 8 bananas, sliced

2 bags chessmen cookies

How to Make Banana Pudding

In a 13x9x2 inch dish, layer 1 bag of cookies in the bottom and one layer of sliced bananas on the top. You can arrange this in glasses as well if you want.

In a bowl, combine milk and pudding mix and mix them well with an electric mixer.

Now, in another bowl, combine condense milk and cream cheese together. Mix them well until smooth.

Take whipped topping and fold it into cream cheese mixture. Then add cream cheese mixture into pudding mixture and mix them until blended well.

Pour the mixture on to cookies and bananas. Place the remaining cookies on the top and place the dish in refrigerator for 1 hour then serve it.

Enjoy! Banana pudding is ready.

Variants and Alternatives

You can flavor your Banana Pudding with a sprinkle of Bitter Cocoa Powder or Cinnamon Powder for that extra bit of flavor, but it doesn’t alter the delicate flavor of each serving. If you like the flavor of Cinnamon, you can add a teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder directly to the vanilla pudding mixture. In this way you will get a delicious Banana and Cinnamon Pudding . If you want a stronger taste, however, you can also decide to replace the preparation for the vanilla pudding with the  Chocolate Pudding .

Note:

For your Banana Pudding, choose bananas that are ripe, but not too soft or brownish.

How to Store Banana Pudding

The Banana Pudding can only be kept in the fridge, covered with cling film, for 24 hours.
